1) Toothpick- seems pointless, because why would you ever have this equipped over a primary weapon? Remember, you can only equip once per turn, so... I suppose, every other turn, you could end your turn with it equipped (for the off-chance you are attacked)... also, the dagger seems kind of pointless, there's a few other items that are just too weak / meaningless, so I always just trade them for cheese..
2) During the "poker game" in chapter 3, is there any reason players can't spot each other cheese? So that nobody is ever at zero cheese, thus ending the charade?
3) Leveling up seems a bit pointless in this game, I mean, it's nice to get an extra option for powers, but beyond two different choices, do you really use anything else? For example, I have yet to lay traps with Nez because I'd just rather keep using battle squeak. The mice seem to level up fast, and by Chapter 4, they were already pretty buff, therefore I am no longer excited about leveling up. And I'm not even halfway through the game.
On another note, I had a great run yesterday for chapter 3... I avoided Brody the whole time (despite starting out with 5 greedy roaches)... and I one-shotted Capt. Vurst with Maginos' Chain Lightening (achievement unlocked)
