So, I don't understand the mechanics of this game. My understanding is that whenever a minion rolls a cheese while attacking AND defending, the cheese gets added to the wheel.

So every game I've played, I only make it halfway and boom, times up. The enenmies rolled too many cheeses and time's up. Every time.

Mathematically it doesn't even make sense. The game will actually penalize you for attacking, and makes ranged characters so bad, it's actually better to do nothing than attack. example:

Fighting a spider, which has 3 defence. Bows already only have 2 dice sides. So if you attack the spider, you have very low odds of hitting it, and a good chance of increasing cheese. Therefore, agaisn't such an oppenent, it only pays to attack wtih melee only with at least 3 attack, and just skip everyone ele's turns because you'll just get punished for it.

Am I missing something? So far my experience with this game is litte more than "roll the dice and see if you got lucky enough to win"

I want to enjoy the game, I love the art, the minis, the theme, and even gameplay. But it has a fundemental flaw of it's difficult, and the only reason it's difficult is because you can do everything perfect, but hey, wroll wrong and you lose.
