Hey there, everybody!I've recently finished my work on what I believe to be the single biggest custom expansion of Mice and Mystics yet: Autumn Winds is designed to be a direct continuation of Downwood Tales, 100 pages in volume and ten chapters in length. I will post both a link to its German version and a full translation of the original post further down, but most important for this post is not what I have but what I'm missing.
First, I have no artistical talent whatsoever. Every picture in the storybook has been lent either from the original storybooks or from Casper Rysgaards "Wings of Snow", the author of which also provided the design elements and template used in this book. The one thing it is still missing is a front page and proper title image - if you feel capable of and interested in providing such a piece, your name would forever go down in the credits.
Second, while I am familiar with the basic terms of the game, I've never played much in English and simply do not know the original English names of various places or characters, nor the correct terminology for various rules and ingame mechanics. Anyone willing to remain on standby for me to ask the correct re-translations of various terms from them when needed would be an invaluable help to me.
Kind Regards,
Yannik Bast

Translation of the original file description:
"Maginos, my old friend! How much it pleases me to meet you once again. How long have I been yearning for this day, how long have I dreamt of returning to your side? I see that you have spent your time quite admirably while I have been absent: the king that you foster, the realm that he protects, both blossom ever so beautifully under your guidance. Life is treating you well, it would seem - I only wish the same could be said of me.
Something stirs in Castle Andon, old friend: something cold and empty, bereft of light, brimming with helpless anger and pale, pulsing agony. It is said that the dead are walking once again there. It is said that the haunting tunes of a music box now echo through the flame-blackened corridors as they have done once before...
Did you truly think that death would be beaten this easily?"
Mice and Mystics: Autumn Winds is the first full-fledged custom expansion to Jerry Hawthornes roleplaying board game Mice and Mystics. With a length of onehundred fully graphically formatted pages and a story that serves as a direct continuation of Downwood Tales, it only barely falls short of the original game in volume.
Follow the prophecies of Glorm, the horror of Castle Andon, who foresaw the destruction of the Downwood in a vision of apocalyptic proportions. Hold your ground against new foes and old ones, forge pacts and alliances, delve into the secrets of elven sorcery and relive the darkest moments of your own past to find the strength needed to face down death itself.
Autumn Winds is a story-driven book even by Mice and Mystics standards, and both its language and contents are aimed at adults first and foremost. Parents considering to play this story with their children are advised to first read into chapter one's story moments to see whether it is suitable for their kids.
Autumn Winds makes use of materials from all Mice and Mystics products thus far released and requires the base game, the expansions Heart of Glorm and Downwood Tales and the spinoff game Tailfeathers to be played.
