Like so many of us (maybe) I was frantically checking on here and plaidhat's website during Gencon with the hope of seeing the announcement of a new M&M campaign. When I read their news and saw several announced things and one additional secret they would reveal at Gencon, I had high hopes. Only to be dashed...I thought I would look up PH games on BGG by ranking. Their website is basically Ashes and Crystal Clans all day every day. I didn't look at their new releases, but M&M(220) is only surpassed in rank by Dead of Winter(66). Ashes(386) appears to be 4th. And Crystal Clans(2758) is way past a lot of their other games. Even Tail Feathers (2368) is ranked higher.
Obviously, BGG rankings do no equate sales or profit. I'm sure Ashes and CC make waaaay more money since they are card games and components are cheap. It just seems like PH's number 2 ranked game M&M should be heading out on a new adventure right about now.
Jerry has been busy with other games. I am currently painting Stuffed Fables and look forward to playing. But, I'm definitely hooked on the M&M universe including TF. Sadly, if not even a squeak has been spoken about an expansion... we are probably 1.5-2 years away from one.(if there is one)
Anyone have any top secret info to share about the future of M&M?
